Zoe Carmichael studied with Raffaello Romanelli at the renowned Studio Galleria Romanelli in Florence, surrounded and inspired by six generations of creations, learning the Old Master Techniques and the Lost Wax Method of bronze sculpture.
The artist’s focus has been the equine form, inspired by a lifetime spent in the saddle at a local and international level. Carmichael brings a true appreciation for her subjects’ personalities with an ever-expanding knowledge of anatomy and tack.
