It is with great pride that we at Muse are able to offer to you this most significant of works from one of the most celebrated contemporary sculptors.
Those living in, or who are regular visitors to London will know ‘The Young Mozart’ bronze that stands in Orange Square, Belgravia. It was commissioned in 1991 to commemorate the bicentenary of the composer’s death and depicts the young Mozart as he would have been when he lived with his family at 180 Ebury St. It was unveiled in 1994 by Her Royal Highness the Princess Margaret.
This copy of the work is one of two others cast in 1994 and carries both the foundry stamp and artists signature. The work stands 168cm high 62cm deep and 80cm wide. The piece has remained crated until we had the opportunity to purchase it earlier this year and is in perfect condition.
The work can be viewed at our offices in Gloucestershire or we can bring it to you so you might see it insitu.
